Ezúton szeretettel meghívunk a 2026. szeptember 1. - 5. között tartandó GÓLYAHÉT rendezvényre, melyet Győrben a központi campuson tartunk! A tábor címe: 9026 Győr, Egyetem tér 1.

Aki eljön a gólyahétre, az óriási előnyre tesz szert azon társaival szemben, akik csupán az évkezdést követően szembesülnek az új és ismeretlen élettel, ami majd meghatározza jövőjüket. Minden fontos információt itt tudhatsz meg a további tanulmányaiddal kapcsolatban, fény derül arra, hogy mit jelentenek bizonyos varázsszavak, úgy, mint ZH, kreditrendszer, TO, IV díj, TDK, BSc, MSc, osztatlan képzés, stb.
A Gólyahét ideje alatt a Hegedűs Gyula Kollégiumban vagy a Multifunkciós Épületben kerülsz elszállásolásra. Fontos tudnod, hogy amennyiben nem nyertél felvételt a kollégiumba a gólyahét végén, a programok lezárultával az épületet el kell hagyni, és ki kell költözni.

Congratulations on your successful admission. You are now a member of the uniquely diverse student community of Széchenyi István University.
We would like to invite you to join us for FRESHERS’ WEEK, taking place from 1 to 5 September 2026 on the central campus of Széchenyi István University in Győr.
Location: 9026 Győr, Egyetem tér 1.
Why participate?
Freshers’ Week is primarily about becoming part of the SZE community. Throughout the week, you will take part in team-building activities, social programs, parties and shared experiences that will help you meet your fellow students and discover the unique atmosphere of student life at Széchenyi István University.
At the same time, the event will also help you prepare for the beginning of your studies. You will have the opportunity to:
- meet other Hungarian and international students;
- build friendships and become part of a team;
- experience the SZE spirit and learn about university traditions;
- explore the campus and become familiar with university life;
- meet lecturers, tutors and university staff;
- receive useful information about your programme and the start of the academic year;
- enjoy concerts, parties and a wide range of entertaining activities.
While you will receive important information about your studies and the University, a significant part of the week focuses on community building, shared experiences and entertainment.
Participating in Freshers’ Week will give you the chance to arrive at the beginning of the academic year already knowing the campus, your fellow students and the university environment. Instead of facing everything for the first time when classes begin, you can start your studies as a member of an established community.
Important information about accommodation
Accommodation in one of the central campus halls of residence will be provided to all participants admitted to the event for the duration of Freshers’ Week.
Participants are required to stay in the accommodation provided during the event.
Please note that registration for Freshers’ Week is not the same as applying for accommodation for the academic semester. If you would like to live in a hall of residence during the semester, you must submit a separate accommodation application.

What is included?
The first 60 students to register for Freshers’ Week will receive the following free of charge:
- accommodation for the duration of Freshers’ Week;
- three meals a day;
- a Freshers’ Week T-shirt;
- a lanyard and wristband;
- a Freshers’ Pack;
- access to community activities, entertainment programmes and concerts;
- and many more surprises!
